z-lady: Howrra Week Day 2! I figure this is kind of a future scenario featuring an AU for episode 9. Since Howl was supposed to be the one watching over Korra at the Air Temple, he’s the only one who knews she was missing that night. He managed to find Naga and they tracked her down up in the mountains, but when he tries to rescue her he gets taken out by Tarrlok.  Later on when Korra returns to the South Pole, the White Lotus compound is still there, and she finds an old helmet of his in his bedroom. She spends a long time reminiscing over her old friend.

without getting too spoilery i just want to say that i am so excited for next season

because in last airbender we basically get cut off right before aang gets to enjoy the whole ‘being the avatar thing’  after mastering all four elements
